Welcome to our church
family!
First Presbyterian Church of Lake Alfred, Florida is a Christian
community of about 135 warm and friendly people.
We're not perfect, but we care deeply for one another and love our
Lord.
Together, we have established a covenant to continually seek the
meaning of being Christ's church here in Lake Alfred.
Our congregation reflects all ages, but we are abundantly blessed
with what Tom Brokaw calls "The Greatest Generation".
We come from a wide variety of locations, life experiences and
churches from across the United States and Canada.
Our purpose is to be a loving, caring congregation that ministers to
people's needs in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
We are part of the Presbyterian Church USA and
the Presbytery
of Tampa Bay. We seek to be
Christ-centered and Biblically guided in all we do.
This site is intended to tell you more about us and to offer you an
opportunity to tell us about yourself. Our site reflects who we are
and what we're like.
We're not shy about using ideas, so if you have any to contribute,
